Here’s the first look inside the New 7000 Series Dell laptop, The Inspiron 7560. In my unboxing videos, many people commented and asked a lot about hardware part like ssd and if they can upgrade SSD or the RAM or not. So here’s the video and without further ado, let’s have a quick look inside the Dell 7560.

Here’s the Unboxing Video of Dell 7560

How to Open Dell Inspiron 7560

So to open 7560 we need few things,

  • a Guitar pick or scraper tool.
  • Use a towel or any soft cloth and place laptop on it.
  • Screw Drivers

Open all 11 Screws, 8 of them will come out so put them in a container carefully. The three screw at top near vents will not come out as they have lock inside.

Now we need a scraper tool, you can use a guitar pick also, just pust the metal casing a little and use scraper tool to slide down the line slowly. You will hear sound of locks unlocking. Slide the scraper tool all around and the place the laptop down.

Then carefully and slowly, pull the casing and it will be opend. Don’t use force as it open ups pretty easily and does not require force. If it doesn’t open, just check for any screw or use scraper tool carefully.

What’s Inside Dell Inspiron 7560

So the inside the 7560 we get a SSD slot for M.2 SSD. This lappy comes witha ADATA 128GB M.2 SSD, you can upgrade it with a bigger M.2 Sata 3 SSD easily.

On the other side, we have two SODIMM RAM Slots for 2400 Mhz DDR4 RAM. This comes with a SK Hynix 8GB DDR4 RAM. I need to add more RAM to this Lappy and so i opened it up after discussing with Dell Customer support. They said we can open this laptop and this will not void any warranty, just make sure no physical damage is done to lappy. I will be adding a Kingston Hyperx Fury 8GB RAM to it soon, already ordered it from Amazon. I often get warning about low memory, so, it’s necessary. Then we this huge 42Whr 3 Cell Prismatic Battery. Backup is not that good, it’s average for my tasks.

Final Thoughts

I always use power cord when i work on After effects and Premiere pro, otherwise it lags alot. Also, hope for a bigger battery in near future, it will be great if Dell does that.
