Well, Google has found a remedy for this and this time launched a new website — www.android.com/phones/whichphone which helps you to pick the right Android smartphone by asking users few questions ( around 3-4) about their preferences and lifestyle, then display a number of suitable devices with all specs to helps find perfect Android phone for you.
How it Works?
When you land on the website page it says “With many Android phones to choose from, here’s a great place to start,” with different consumers cartoons on a looping conveyor belt. Once you click “Get Started” button it asks you about your preferences like do you like to snap pictures or listen music or play games or social media? It ask you 3-4 out of 12 preferences and tap the green “Show Me Phones” button. Finally, it will ask you to choose your carrier (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon), you can select one or skip this step. Now Google’s algorithm will do rest of the work and will display a few best smartphones according to your preferences with a long list of features and specs of each smartphone below their images.
Additionally, you can request to see only the latest Android phones or else, you can use drop-down menus on the results page for filtering of results like carrier, size, and price etc.
Google’s this site is useful to get details on what different Android phones have to offer, and that could be very helpful to people. However, if you’re someone who’s looking for a Android smartphone to do most basic stuffs like phone calls, email, and texting then this might not be a good place to find out.
