Photomath is a very popular and very useful app with which you can solve math problems using your smartphone’s camera. The app is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, so we’ll be giving you a brief rundown of its capabilities here. After you install this app you’ll notice that solving complicated math problems has become easier than ever. Just make sure the equation is printed, rather than handwritten (Can solve handwritten if written neatly – see screenshots). All you have to do is line up the viewfinder with the problem you’re trying to solve and PhotoMath will do all calculations.

The math problem will be automatically detected, and solved almost immediately. If you’d like to see exactly how PhotoMath arrived at a given answer, simply tap the result at the bottom of the screen.
