Android 4.4.2 Update rolling out for Nexus Device

Recently i’ve updated my Nexus 4 Device in India from Android 4.4 to Android 4.4.2 and Similarly, Dozens of users are reporting that they are receiving over the air updates to their Nexus devices.

The small update brings the firmware on the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (both generations) and the Nexus 10 to build number KOT49H. Just last week, Google released Android 4.4.1, an update focused on the camera performance of the Nexus 5; not all users received the 4.4.1 OTA yet, and it’s likely that 4.4.2 will roll out instead.

So far, the changelog for the OTA is pretty basic, but we’ll be able to tell you more once we get our updates:

Fix for clearing the VM Indicator
Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
Various additional software fixes
Security enhancements
