Hey Guys, Welcome to the New HowTo Guide from Techposts and today in this tutorial i’ll show you how to add your own custom Quick Settings Tiles on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In our previous tutorial we shown you How to enable the Hidden Multi Windows feature in Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is inbuild and you don’t need any app to do so. So before we start the guide, please make sure that your device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Any version below 6.0 will not work. Also make sure that you have the hideen system UI tuner enabled. Click on follwoing link to see how to enable the Hidden System UI Tweak Menu in Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The main part of this tutorial is the Custom Quick Settings app from the developer Mike Quinn. You can download this app for free from Google Play Store. Now when you first launch the app, you’ll notice the pretty simple interface.
To begin creating quick setting tiles, tap on the floating action button present in the bottom right corner.

Step #1. Open the System UI Tuner from the Phone’s setting menu.

Step #2. Hit the Quick Setting option and Tap the Add(+) button at the bottom of the screen and select broadcast from the list.

Step #3. Now long press the Text Field and Copy paste “CUSTOMTILE0” and press OK.

Step #4. Next, Hit back button twice and head back to the main app and scroll down and tap Done.

Step #5. On the next screen you will see the customization options for the New Quick settings tile you just created. You can give this tile a name, a unique icon and decide long or short press action.

Note: As far as actions go, you make your custom tile launching a new App, aopen a new URL or you can also toggle the common system settings and as i said earlier, you can assign two separate actions for when you tap or long press the button.

Conclusion:

Now once you are done with all the settings, go ahead and tap the check icon whenever you are ready to go. Now you can access your Quick Setting tab like you access the rest of them. To do so, just pull down twice from the top of your screen to see it. Depending upon what you choose for this icon, tapping this icon will launch your shortcut.
