I recently rooted my new Galaxy S6 Edge and wanted to install Xposed framework. I tried once but ended up bricking my new S6 Device and loosing my warranty too. I don’t care about warranty and all but yes, i wanted my Galaxy S6 back and working. So i had to flash the stock firmware using Odin. But again i tried installing Xposed Framework and this time it was another build which was successfully flashed and now my S6 Edge has Xposed installed. So in this guide i will be showing you how to install Xposed Framework in any Samsung Galaxy device running Android Lollipop and Marshmallow. I have tested it on My S6 Edge SM G925I running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will work for all flagship galaxy devices starting from Galaxy S5, Note 4/5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7, S7 Edge etc. running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and 6.0 Marshmallow.Xposed for Samsung galaxy devices

This Xposed was build and maintained by developer @rovo89, so don’t forget to give credits to him.

Requirements:

  • Stock (Odexed and Deodexed) 5.1/6.0 Roms
  • CWM recovery or TWRP Recovery installed

We have four different Xposed Framework installer which depends upon OS and device’s processor type. For eg.

  • ARM (devices running arm32 OS includes devices like GS5 and Note 4 etc.).
  • ARM64 (devices running arm64 OS includes devices like Galaxy S7/S6, Note5 and all their variants,
  • SDK 21 (Android 5.0) SDK22 ( Android 5.1) and SDK23 ( Android 6.0 Marshmallow)

To check which type of processor your device is running on, install and open “Hardware Info” app from PlayStore. After you checked the processor and Android OS version, go ahead and download correct Xposed zip file for your device. The Xposed installer APK will remain same for all. See screenshots,
